Boiler fuel consumption = boiler tonnage * 600,000 kcal / fuel calorific value / boiler thermal efficiency. The calorific value of biomass fuel is about 4,000 kcal/kg, and the thermal efficiency of DHL biomass boiler is 88%. So, the fuel consumption per hour of 40 tons biomass boiler = 40 * 600,000 kcal / 4000 / 0.88 = 6988 kg .
