The flue gas volume of circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boilers is different from that of chain grate boilers. Because the excess air volume of CFB boilers is relatively large, the induced draft fan is generally configured at 3000Nm3 per steam ton. Here is a specific calculation formula for the flue gas volume of a circulating fluidized bed boiler:
1. Hourly sulfur dioxide emissions of the boiler: Mso2=2×K×Bg× (1- q4/100)×Sar/100
The conversion coefficient is 0.9 for pulverized coal furnaces. The combustion efficiency of fluidized bed boilers is lower than that of pulverized coal furnaces. Therefore, the conversion rate of sulfur should be lower than that for pulverized coal furnaces, but 0.9 can also be selected.
Bg: Continuous load coal consumption of the boiler.
q4: Percentage of boiler mechanical incomplete combustion loss (%).
Sar: received base sulfur content of coal (%)
2. The flue gas displacement Vy is obtained by checking the boiler thermal calculation book, and the boiler coal quality element analysis figures and the boiler coal consumption.
3. The sulfur dioxide emission concentration is: Mso2/Vy
4. The nitrate content and the emissions of nitrogen oxides by the engine cannot be calculated. There is no formula, because it is not only related to the N content in the coal, but also related to the combustion temperature, which can only be measured directly.
In fact, the specific amount of flue gas emissions is not the key to the problem, as long as the emissions do not exceed the national standards, there is no problem. When designing the circulating fluidized bed boiler, ZBG Boiler Group’s engineer not only controlled the exhaust gas volume below the national standard, but also had very little emissions.
