The layout of the convection evaporation heating surface of the waste heat boiler directly affects the thermal efficiency of the waste heat boiler. So, what principles should it follow?
The flue gas should flow as uniformly as possible in the cross section of the flue, and it should be arranged as far as possible to flush the heating surface horizontally, or longitudinal flushing can also be used.
When the flue gas contains less dust, the staggered arrangement can be adopted. In natural ventilation, the arrangement should be arranged in parallel. The net distance between the upper drum and the lower drum or the outer surface of the drum and the lower header is generally greater than 1.4m.
The junction of the convection evaporation heating surface tube and the drum should be 100~150mm below the lowest water level of the drum.
The heating surface of convection evaporation generally adopts φ32, φ38, φ51mm tubes.
The flue gas flow rate in the convection evaporation heating surface is generally 8~12m/s for the first type of waste heat boiler, and can be appropriately increased for the slightly positive pressure waste heat boiler, and the second and third types of waste heat boilers are generally less than 8m/s.
For the second and third types of waste heat boilers, appropriate anti-wear measures should be taken for the tubes on the convective evaporation heating surface that are prone to wear.
